4 Bedrooms

Villa Valentina has four bedrooms, all located on the main floor, with access directly to the living room. Three bedrooms have a kingsize (180×200) bed, a wardrobe and dresser to store all your clothes, a mirror and a relaxing chair that can be used as an extra bed. The fourth bedroom has two separate beds, and a dresser. This room is ideal for (older) children.

All beds have high-quality mattresses, and soft and hotel-like bed linen both for warm summers as well as colder winter nights. In addition, there are also two baby beds available, including bedding. All bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning.

3 Bathrooms

The villa has three bathrooms, perfect for larger families, where every family or couple can enjoy their own private bathroom. There are two large bathrooms, and one which is a bit smaller. All bathrooms contain a toilet, bidet, sink (one bathroom has a double sink) with cabinet, and comfortable shower. All bathrooms have a high-quality hair dryer so you do not have to bring your own.

Downstairs there is another ‘powder room’, consisting of a toilet, bidet, sink, and also a washer and dryer.

The living

The living room of the villa is grand!

The high ceiling, authentic details and the stunning view make this room a very comfortable and luxurious space. With plenty of day light, lot’s of seating space, a desk to do some work and a place for the kids to play, this room serves all purposes you can wish for.

The room is equipped with a large TV with streaming services apps, a DVD player with some great ‘Dolce Vita’ classics and a sound system which you can easliy connect to your own device through bluetooth.

Child friendly

Both inside and outside, the villa offers plenty of playing opportunities and toys for (small) children. Older children can enjoy the comfortable couches and the bar in the lounge. On summer days they can enjoy the pool with its diving board.

The kitchen offers two baby chairs and the villa has two baby beds including matrasses en bed linen at your disposal.

The outside terraces

Villa Valentina offers various terraces to enjoy the outside area. You can sit under the gazebo for a nice aperitivo on the round picnic table, while watching the children play outside.

Later you can head up to the upper terrace on the balcony for some comfortable lounging with a view over the garden, hills, and the lake. You can either choose to put up the umbrella’s that are provided, or leave them down and enjoy some late afternoon sun.

For extensive lunches and/or dinners on hot summer days there is a dining table on the patio, right next to the grill and the pizza oven and close to the kitchen. Don’t worry if a little rain is expected, because this space is covered by the traditional roman tiled roof.

The pool

In the beautiful garden of Villa Valentina you will also find the large salt water pool (11 x 4,5m). A salt water pool is better for the skin, better for your clothes and better for the environment.

Around the pool there is a natural stone terrace completely laid in concrete. Next to the pool there is a shower that uses sweet water from the well, heated by the sun. The pool also has a separate dressing room with toilet, so you do not have to go inside the villa.

For additional fun the pool has a real diving board on the deep side of the pool (2,5m deep). For sun bathing the pool area is equipped with some good quality adjustable sun beds. Do you prefer shade? Don’t worry, an umbrella is always within reach!

The kitchen and inside dining area

The kitchen is the heart of the home, a place for families to gather, enjoy cooking together, while zipping a glass of wine.

Villa Valentina’s kitchen offers exactly that, in a traditional Italian style. Equipped with all modern appliances, like a dishwasher, large fridge, oven, stove, and lots of storage space. There is also a water boiler and Nespresso coffee machine to serve delicious espresso’s and cappuccino’s.

The kitchen also has a large dining table, with seating for 8 persons, plus two additional baby chairs, to enjoy the family dinners when it is too hot or cold to sit outside.

The lounge

At the lower level of the villa, next to the kitchen, there is a grand lounge area. You can access the lounge through the back door, or via a traditional wooden spiral staircase coming from the upstairs living room.

In the summer this is the cool place of the villa, as it is surrounded by very thick walls. In winter, you can enjoy a red wine in this cosy and friendly environment, while hiding from the cold outside.

The lounge area is a colourfull place, with comfortable sofa’s and gold and marble details. There is a bar where you can serve drinks or prepare delicious cocktails for aperitivo time. For the recipe you only have to take look at the tin pictures on the wall.

The garden

Villa Valentina is situated on a lot of 3000 square meter. When you enter the villa through the main gate, you can walk up to the front entrance, or past the citrus trees along side the house to the enormous garden at the back of the villa.

The villa is situated in a nature reserve, so you are in the middle of beautiful nature. The original owners who build the villa back in 1962 have planted some very special and exotic trees and plants, which you can still enjoy in their now mature state.

We suggest you go for an early morning walk throught the garden with a cup of coffee or tea in your hand to enjoy the different palm trees, magnolia trees, pine trees, olive trees, cypresses, edible laurel, and many more. Or pick fresh herbs from the herb garden to use in your pasta.
